My approach to therapy is grounded in relationship. While I draw from a range of perspectives—including modern attachment theory, interpersonal and existential therapy, and psychoanalytic thought—what guides me most is the belief that healing happens in connection.

In our work together, we’ll explore the relationships that shape you: with others, with the world around you, and with yourself. I pay close attention to the dynamics that unfold between us in the therapy room, knowing that our relationship can become a space for insight, growth, and new ways of being.

I welcome and honor the complexity of your identities. I am an LGBTQIA+ allied therapist and a supporter of racial justice. My intention is to create a space where your whole self feels seen, held, and invited to show up fully.

education

I’m a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas (TX 39139), with a Ph.D. and M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. My doctoral internship was completed at Texas A&M University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, and my career in psychology began with a B.A. from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania.

I approach my work—and my ongoing education—with curiosity and care. I see learning not just as a professional responsibility, but as a way to stay in active relationship with the evolving needs of my clients. I’m currently deepening my training in PACT couples therapy, ADHD-informed care, and existential therapy. I am continuing to explore how people grow, connect, and make meaning throughout their lives.

personal

I am originally from Southern California, but I consider myself a full-fledged Austinite after a decade in this city!

Outside of my practice, I’m continually drawn to the experiences that connect us to ourselves and to others—losing myself in a novel, sharing time and conversation with close friends, moving my body to feel grounded, experimenting in the kitchen, and traveling with my family. Parenthood, too, has deepened my capacity to stay present in the unfolding, often unpredictable moments of life. These rhythms mirror what I value in therapy: the importance of relationship, meaning-making, and the quiet power of being with what is.
